When it comes to futuristic cars, this one is about as farfetched as you can get: The Ferrari Millenio, a two-seater built with an exotic material called Buckypaper which is lighter than carbon fiber while stronger than steel. Under the hood are dual electric motors, charged up with a solar array, or when it’s nighttime or cloudy, there’s no need to plug it in — it wirelessly charges via inductive power, embedded in your garage floor. When can we drive one? It’s a design concept so far, but were hoping it’s not going to take 1,000 years to hit the streets, as its “Millenio” name suggests.

Photo

How philosophers greet each other: "Hello, why are you?"

"The only true voyage would be not to visit strange lands, but to possess other eyes."

“The only true voyage would be not to visit strange lands, but to possess other eyes.”

- Marcel Proust

"What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of..."

“What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow. Confabulations are indicative of a complicated and intricate process that can be led astray at any given point during encoding, storage, or recall of a memory. Two distinct types of confabulation are often distinguished. Spontaneous, or primary, confabulations do not occur in response to a cue and seem to be involuntary. Provoked, or secondary, confabulations occur in response to something external, like a memory test. Another distinction found in confabulations is that between verbal and behavioral. Verbal confabulations are spoken false memories and are more common, while behavioral confabulations occur when an individual acts on their false memories. Confabulated memories of all types most often occur in autobiographical memory.

"If you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right."

“If you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.”

- Henry Ford

loved Quantum Levitation on Boxee

loved Quantum Levitation on Boxee
